Manoj Vij, a passionate food lover he always knew he wanted to bring something unique to the culinary world. After completing his schooling, he pursued a Master’s in Hotel Management from the prestigious Institute of India Hotel Management. He worked at renowned hotels like The Oberoi and The Lalit in Delhi, honing his skills and learning the ins and outs of five-star hospitality. His journey even took him to Florida, USA, where he worked for two years in the bustling food industry. Yet, his heart always belonged to India.
Manoj’s dream was to create a space where people could enjoy high-quality, delicious food, using the knowledge he gained from his global experiences. His vision was simple—bring the best taste to India, where food is not just sustenance but a celebration. With that goal in mind, he returned to his roots and Along with his brother.
2020: The First Expansion
In 2020, while the world was facing the COVID-19 pandemic, Manoj Vij and his brother, Anurag Vij, decided it was time to make their shared dream a reality. Manoj, a passionate food lover, had spent years honing his culinary skills, working at top hotels like The Oberoi and The Lalit in Delhi, and gaining international experience in Florida, USA. Together, they took the bold step of opening their first Pizza Story outlet in Ghumarwin, Bilaspur district, Himachal Pradesh. Launching a restaurant during lockdown seemed impossible, but the Vij brothers focused on safety, takeaway, and contactless delivery. Their delicious pizzas and burgers, made with fresh ingredients and great care, quickly became a hit among the locals seeking comfort food
2021: Spreading the Love for Pizza
In 2021, after the success of their first outlet in Ghumarwin, Manoj and Anurag Vij expanded Pizza Story to the small town of Jahu in Hamirpur district. Despite the challenges of the ongoing pandemic, the brothers saw a growing demand for their delicious pizzas and burgers. The new outlet in Jahu was an instant hit, offering locals a fresh, exciting dining experience.
2022: Continuing the Momentum
In 2022, building on the success of their first two outlets, Pizza Story made its way to Sarkaghat in Mandi district for the third time. The opening of this new outlet marked a significant milestone for Manoj and Anurag Vij as they expanded their beloved pizza chain. With a keen focus on maintaining the same high standards of quality and safety, the brothers were excited to bring their signature pizzas and burgers to a wider audience.
2023: A Growing Family of Pizza Lovers
By 2023,In 2023, Pizza Story made a triumphant return to its roots with the opening of its third outlet in Bilaspur. After successfully expanding to Sarkaghat and other locations, Manoj and Anurag Vij decided it was time to reestablish their presence in the town where it all began. The new Bilaspur outlet was designed to blend the familiar charm of the original with modern touches to cater to an evolving customer base. The grand opening was met with excitement from the community, who were eager to enjoy the beloved pizzas and burgers once more. The outlet quickly became a favorite spot, with locals appreciating the high quality and consistent taste that Pizza Story was known for.

So I was roaming around in Ghumarwin bazaar with my friend. Suddenly I started feeling hungry! I felt like having pizza. So I came to the Pizza story and ordered Black & White Pizza with Blue curacao Mojito. TBH I just loved the pizza. It was yumm. 🤤 Mojito was refreshing too. The Ambience, the service, the music everything was amazing. I would personally like to recommend this place to you guys to kill your cravings 👏
Today i ordered 2 Pizzas from pizza story for my family members, and to be very honest the taste which we had in Pizzas that was outstanding. The best thing about pizza story Restaurant, there staff members, they speak very politely and with lots of love. There are so many other pizza outlet in ghumarwin,but this pizza story is the best here. I personally recommend this place to all.

Now , the time has been passed for weeks and months since i have been visiting this restaurant, Food is good , atmosphere is good , the staff , specially miss laxmi and miss bhavna who usually greet us at front max of the time . Adorable and very supportive always taking care of if u are having a bad day they cheer you up the place is worth visiting.

I went there with my family and I really enjoyed the ambience. We ordered pizza and was very tasty..Did not expect this from a local restaurant, also I met with shivam there, he was singing some very beautiful songs, by seeing that I asked him if he could sing a particular song(don’t remember which song it was my wife’s request) he agreed, undoubtedly it was an awesome experience👍

I travelled all the way from Hamirpur ( Ditching Dominos ) to Jahu just because my wife wished a pizza from pizza story. I generally don’t eat western food but my wife and family does. It’s a great place for pizza and everyone should taste pizza story pizza. You will forget rest of the Brands . I would suggest Pizza story to place an Advertisement in Colours of Himachal Magazine

overall experience is good , the ambiance the art , everything is perfectly managed, not a boring experience, love the food , specially the burgers are awasome, and must try extra spicy 🔥 peri peri fries , pizza is good but not great , need to be more precise to bake pizza's. Although it was full of fun to spend time with friends there.
